To start, copper has a 40% more thermal cooling efficiency over aluminum. Paired with a proprietary fin design we use with over 600,000 louvers in each radiator. This eliminates air boundary build up inside the core. Vehicles from the 1930’s have up to 40% less core size than today’s cars/trucks. Most of these cars are equipped with 400-500hp, AC condensers, and are daily driven demanding a resilient cooling system - and that’s where we come into play. Johnson’s Radiator Works radiators feature a 4-row, 2 ¾” thick - high-flow copper core, ideal for the best cooling efficiency possible. Built as a direct fit for a stock replacement complete with the appropriate connections. Made with heavy gauge steel side brackets and mounting holes pre-stamped. Includes an optional built-in oil cooler for automatic transmissions.
